Business Development Director(s) - MomsGuide.com Responsibilities include maximizing revenue opportunities by negotiating content purchasing and licensed content distribution, creating barter and e-commerce deals with the major portals, women's sites, and channel oriented sites (i.e.: Mom's Guide to Sports). Develop corporate sponsors and e-commerce partners by identifying key decision makers, defining business requirements, writing proposals, monitoring success of alliances and maintaining business relationships. Participate in the development of the company's strategic direction and assist in creating new business opportunities. Must have previous Internet business development experience and proven ability to define and prioritize opportunities and close deals. E-Commerce Merchandising Coordinator - MomsGuide.com Responsibilities in this Business Development department position include coordinating and producing e-commerce shopping environments between our site and those of our partners. Work with designers and developers and operations managers and e-commerce partners to ensure code matches concept for a satisfying customer experience. This entry level position requires knowledge of HTML, ability to write short copy, and project management skills. Web Development/Operations Manager(s) - MomsGuide.com Responsibilities include a broad range of functions, including HTML programming, email list server development and maintenance, ad banner monitoring, web linking and co-branded integration with e-commerce and content partners, and working with the hosting ISP to optimize the performance of the web site. Develop measurement tools to evaluate site traffic and work with marketing/business development to extract other metrics for marketing analysis. Sales and Promotions Manager(s) – Mom’s Guide to Sports publications Responsible for selling and marketing GameTime Guides from the Mom’s Guide to Sports series to national retailers (mass merchants, sports/book/grocery chains) and forming affiliate sales and promotions with national youth sports associations and leagues and their respective e-commerce web sites. Also responsible for seeking and contracting with packaged-good consumer product companies to create tie-in promotional give-aways. Experience in national account sales of consumer brands, tie-in promotions, or knowledge of youth league associations preferred. Skills in basic PC usage for selling, direct mailing and overall account management required. Must be very organized and able to communicate easily on the telephone and through written follow-up correspondence. This can be a full or part-time position.
