Business Development Director(s) - MomsGuide.com Responsibilities include maximizing revenue opportunities by negotiating content purchasing and licensed content distribution, creating barter and e-commerce deals with the major portals, women's sites, and channel oriented sites (i.e.: Mom's Guide to Sports). Develop corporate sponsors and e-commerce partners by identifying key decision makers, defining business requirements, writing proposals, monitoring success of alliances and maintaining business relationships. Participate in the development of the company's strategic direction and assist in creating new business opportunities. Must have previous Internet business development experience and proven ability to define and prioritize opportunities and close deals. Also responsible for seeking and contracting with packaged-good consumer product companies to create tie-in promotional give-aways. Experience in national account sales of consumer brands, tie-in promotions, or knowledge of youth league associations preferred. Skills in basic PC usage for selling, direct mailing and overall account management required.
