Michelle Smith Joins MomsGuide.com as VP of Marketing and Business Development

Marblehead, MA, July 18, 2000 - MomsGuide.com, a new company developing an integrated media brand for sports-moms, today announced that Michelle Smith has joined the company as vice president of marketing and business development. Smith, formerly with Mast Industries, Inc., a subsidiary of The Limited, Inc. (NYSE: LTD) is primarily responsible for overseeing sales of GameTime Guides from the "Mom’s Guide to Sports" series and extending the "Mom’s Guide to Sports" brand on the web and other media.

"My job is to manage the fast growth of the popular GameTime Guides to major retailers and youth sports leagues across the country and further develop the ‘Mom’s Guide to Sports’ brand in other media by forming new strategic partners," said Smith. "It’s exciting to work on a focussed brand that resonates with the proverbial soccer-mom, and our forthcoming sports site at MomsGuide.com with content and e-commerce for this demographic will be truly unique," she added.

Michelle Smith joins MomsGuide.com from Mast Industries where she held numerous marketing and product management roles over the course of eleven years in the 1.4 billion-dollar clothing manufacturer. She was responsible for the growth of three different apparel businesses that grew from $2 million to $43 million in annual revenues, and she developed several successful production agreements and vendor partnerships in over a dozen countries around the world.
